What this directory is, and what it is not.
not is a curated directory of tools and resources. Every entry is a real record with metadata — platforms, pricing, licence, whether it needs an account, whether you can self-host it — so you can filter, compare and discover instead of scrolling a wall of links.
Principles
- Curated, not crawled. Each entry is added by a person and reviewed in a pull request.
- Metadata first. Badges, filters and search are all generated from the same front matter.
- No backend. The whole site is static; search runs in your browser.
- Honest status. Tools are marked unmaintained, deprecated, archived or dead rather than silently removed. Links are checked automatically every week.
